$5,000 Reward for the People Who Killed Three Cats in Atlantic City

Ally Cat Allies is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and convictions of three men in the slayings of three Atlantic City cats back in March. The cats were part of their national Boardwalk Cats project and beloved throughout the community.

On March 22, at Vermont Avenue and the boardwalk, three of the Boardwalk Cats were found killed. The Atlantic City Police Department has posted surveillance photos on its Facebook page of three men who officers are trying to identify in connection with the investigation.

“Animal cruelty must be taken seriously, and the guilty parties should be punished to the full extent of the law,” said Becky Robinson, president and founder of Alley Cat Allies, who are grateful to the Atlantic City Police Department and Chief Henry White for making this case a high priority, in part due to the proven connection between violence toward animals and violence toward people.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Atlantic City Police Department by calling (609) 347-5766. Or, text anonymously to tip411 (847-411) and begin your text with ACPD.
