Cat-Killing Vet Kristen Lindsey Charged with Drunk Driving

The Texas vet – who shamelessly shot a cat with a bow and arrow (now all but proven to be a neighbor’s cat named Tiger) and posted a photo, bragging about it on Facebook – was arrested last March. She was not, however, charged with animal cruelty like we’d all hoped. According to Harris County Texas public court records (Cause No. 2081246), Lindsey was arrested on March 21, 2016 at 1:22 in the morning for Driving While Intoxicated.

According to KHOU.com:

Police say a car driven by Kristen Lindsey nearly hit an off-duty Precinct 5 deputy on I-10 westbound near the West Loop back in March. The deputy called in a report of an erratic driver. A Houston police officer stopped Lindsey on the South Loop at Stella Link where she ran into a curb.

She was found to be impaired, arrested and now has been charged with DWI. Depending on the outcome of an upcoming hearing, a judge will determine whether her driver’s license can be suspended. (The Catington Post will update as more information is released.)

The veterinarian is still fighting to keep her license to practice after posting a photo of herself on Facebook holding a cat that had been shot with an arrow with the words, “My first bow kill LOL. The only good feral tomcat is one with an arrow through its head! Vet of the year award … gladly accepted.”
