It’s no surprise that cats can be very vocal animals…but Maximus the Bengal cat has taken his vocal abilities a step further – and has become an internet sensation with his rendition of the Outhere Brothers UK hip hop classic, Boom Boom Boom from 1994. Remember the line, “Let me hear you say wayo?”
In the following video, Maximus’ owner, Mat Ambrose says: “Boom boom boom, let me hear you say “wayo.” Maximus responds with a very convincing, “wayo!” Check it out:
This video has been watch over 4 million times on Facebook! That’s more than half as many views as the official Outhere Brothers’ video for the same song on YouTube! And we can’t say we’re surprised – Maximus has star quality! Because his kitty has become so popular, Ambrose created a Facebook page for him where you can see more photos and videos of the rising star.
