During an interview with ABC News, this cat emerged from the rubble left after twin tornados destroyed a home in northeast Nebraska.

The day after rare twin tornadoes touched down in Stanton County, Nebraska, Lori Webster was tearfully recalling to ABC News reporter Bazi Kanani how her brother, his wife and several children were rescued from their basement when the family’s beloved orange cat emerged from the rubble.

While Webster was talking, she spotted her sister-in-law’s frightened cat walking out from under a pile of debris. “Oh my God,” Webster said. “Come here, kitty. … You’ve got to come up here, baby.” ABC News reported that the family also has two dogs and several other cats who survived the tornadoes.
