Steve Harvey hosts Funderdome – an incredible new TV show where inventors go toe to toe in order to win over the audience for a chance to get seed money for their ideas. The fun and creative show airs on Sunday evenings at 9:00PM EDT on ABC. Kitty cats from around the country heard the casting call and, as a result, these feline inventors ended up showcasing their creations in order to start, grow or build their ideas. Here is how they made out.
Grand PooBox Litter Box
Courtney Karsted from Portland Oregon was in the Funderdome presenting her kitty cat litter box inspired by her feline muse named Rex. Although Courtney did not walk away with the $100,000.00 she was competing to win but her litter box is available for pre-purchase on her website at www.grandpoobox.com.
Catzenpup
Garrett from Alexandria, Virginia was in the Funderdome competing for $20,000.00 and was funded the money! The Catzenpup is a device that opens fresh single-servings of moist food for cats and dogs using an app. Learn more about the “Keurig of Pet Feeders” and even sign up to be a beta-tester for free.
Pet Pita
Pet Pita is a sturdy cloth with holes for your cat’s paws to slip in and dangle out so you can carry her safely. This inventor cashed out with a helpful $20,000.00. The Pet Pita is now available at www.petpita.com.
X-Purr
Up against the Pet Pita was the innovative kitty cat scratcher, the X-Purr. Designed and marketed by Los Angeles natives Natasha Wang and Arloa Reston. The X-Purr retails for $60.00 and can be purr-chased at www.xpurr.com.
Kritter Kondo
Lisa Illman was battling it out in the Funderdome for $50,000.00 for her outdoor kitty cat enclosure.
