All the Ads in a London Subway Station Have Been Replaced With Cats!

Recommended

In a campaign to challenge advertising norms,The Citizens Advertising Takeover Service (CATS) project has replaced all the ads in a London underground train station with pictures of cats! CATS is the brainchild of Glimpse, a creative collective aiming for positive social change. Glimpse chose to use cats due to their internet popularity, and held a crowdfunding campaign to pay for the posters. They raised more than $30,000 (£23,000) with a 2-week Kickstarter campaign. Glimpse founder, James Turner, said he was surprised by the huge response to the project!

The portraits are either of cats from shelters in need of a home, or those owned by people who donated £100 or more to the project.
