Call Your Travel Agent: You Can Cuddle 500 Cats at a Time in Hawaii!

Add the Lanai Cat Sanctuary in Hawaii to your kitty cuddle bucket list! People travel from all over the world to visit this sanctuary on the small Hawaiian island of Lanai, and once you take a look at these photos, it’s easy to see why:

Lanai Cat Sanctuary is home to more than 500 cats – and if you visit, you’re free to hang out and pet every last one of them. They’re located on 25,000 acres and the cats are not caged. They’re free to roam wherever they want, whenever they want. The sanctuary’s executive director refers to it as the “Fur” Seasons!

Are you ready to visit the sanctuary and cuddle 500 kitties? There’s no admission fee, but the sanctuary relies heavily on the generousity of visitors to care for the cats, so a donation is appreciated. Learn more about the Lanai Cat Sanctuary on their website:

Just when this dog-eat-dog world has handed you all the poop you can take, it's time to walk the dog. Or wash the dog. Or feed the dog. You get the idea. So welcome to the world of easy-to-care-for cats. Entertainment comes bundled in a furry, huggable, self-cleaning cat who won't beg for your food. In his eyes, you don't eat well enough anyway. Just keep a laser pen handy, sit back and wait for the fun to begin! Cats...ya gotta love 'em.
