Persian cat Jin Jin, like many long-haired cats, usually gets a cute lion cut to stay cool during the warm months and to keep all that shed hair under control. Here’s how he normally looks:
A few months ago, Jin Jin was due for his next trim. His human, Xie Qian Qian was too busy to take him herself, so she asked a friend to drop him off at the groomer. Apparently, there was a miscommunication on the type of haircut Jin Jin was to receive…
Needless to say, Qian was shocked when she saw her cat and he looked like this:
He was shaved everywhere – except for his face – giving him the very odd appearance of wearing a fur cat mask!
“I was surprised the groomer would shave him like that. I can’t be blamed for it,” Qian told The Dodo. Still, she admits that she couldn’t help but smile when she saw him.
This hilarious little mishap is proof that we all get bad haircuts….even cats! Fortunately, hair grows back.
