Saying Goodbye: Pence Family Cat Passes Away

While the news never stops in Washington, a little bit of sad news happened at home for Vice President Pence and his family, too. They had to say goodbye to their beloved cat, Oreo last week.

Second lady Karen Pence tweeted photos of the black and white 13-year-old cat, saying, “Rest in peace Oreo. You touched a lot of hearts in your little life. Our family will miss you very much.”

Oreo, along with another cat, Pickles, and a bunny named Marlon Bundo moved with the family to the vice president’s residence at the Naval Observatory after the election.
