VIDEO: Cat Stuck on Fence Rescued from Flooding in North Carolina

Though the heavy rains from Hurricane Florence have moved out of North Carolina and Virginia, many rivers are in flood – and still rising – putting more people, property, and pets in danger.

One cat, in particular, was stuck on a fence outside a flooded restaurant, The Baron and The Beef, in the city of Kinston, North Carolina. Rescuers from the Ohio Task Force 1 were there with boats and a helping hand. Watch the following video as they pull the scared and soaked cat from the top of a chain link fence and carry it to safety:
