The black cat that somehow found her way onto the ice during pre-game warmups for Game 1 of the San Jose Sharks v. Nashville Predators National Hockey League playoff game has become somewhat of a good luck charm to the Sharks, who ended up winning the game that night.
While the team did turn the cat over to the Humane Society Silicon Valley, they’ve been keeping close track of her and sharing her progress via tweets to fans:

The cat, named Jo PAW-velski (after the team’s captain, Joe Pavelski) has had a ton of interest from people who want to adopt the kitty, but while the shelter takes all necessary steps to ensure she doesn’t already have owners, fans can watch Jo live via her 24-hour webcam here!
Will the little black cat prove to be a good luck charm for the Sharks? Time will tell. As of right now, the Sharks and Predators are tied in the series 3-3 and will face off one more time on Thursday, May 12 to determine which team moves on to the Western Conference Finals.
