Black Cat Storms the Field During ‘Monday Night Football’

The New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys got an unexpected surprise during their Monday Night Football matchup when a four-legged visitor made its way into MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Play was stopped during the second quarter of the game when the black cat appeared near midfield during the Giants’ drive. While security did attempt to catch the cat in vain, it eventually made it’s way out through a tunnel.

Stadium security believes the black feline may be part of a group of strays that lives under the bleachers. They intend to search for the cat and have him checked out by a vet.

Believe it or not, it’s fairly common for cats to interrupt sporting events! Check out these other games where cats made an unexpected appearance.
