A woman in Jefferson County, Alabama got the surprise of a lifetime when her cat alerted her to something stuck under the hood of her car. When she took a look, she found the furry face of a dog looking back at her!
Clairessia Gamble was just about to leave when she noticed her cat growling at the car. That’s what prompted her to take a closer look. The little black dog had climbed through the front of the car and trapped itself near the engine.
The dog, now being called “Pippi” is now safe at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Gamble says, “it was the cat who saved the dog.”
