Firefighter Rescues Tiny Kitten from Northern California Fires [VIDEO]

Firefighters save lives, it’s what they do — but this time that life belonged to a tiny, frightened orange kitten who was running from the Bear Fire currently raging in Northern California.

Daniel Trevizo, a fire captain with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, took video with his phone when he saw the little guy running toward him. “This little kitten comes running up as friendly as can be,” he said. “We’re going ahead and keeping him safe and secure until we can drop him off to animal control.”

Then, Trevizo pats the kitten on the head and calls him “a good little fire cat.”

Trevizo also mentioned that another cat was rescued from some fire debris, too.
