A teenager found an early Christmas present under the tree last week. 17-year-old Danielle Lopez found her cat, Tink, curled up under the tree with a newborn kitten. Then, with her humans’ help, the cat named Tink gave birth to three more baby kittens.
The Lopez family rescued Tink as a stray and nursed her back to health. “If we didn’t take her home she would have died. She was all bones,” Lopez told BuzzFeed News.
The family plans to keep all four kittens and have given them suitably festive holiday names: Noel, Joy, Christmas and Faith. Here’s hoping they’ll have the entire family spayed and neutered as soon as they’re ready!
